Holding the crest-jewel brought by Hanuman in His bosom, Rama felt Seeta is standing before Him and wanted Hanuma to tell once again what She said. Hanuman narrating the whole story repeated the words of Seeta as to whether Rama is indifferent towards Her? Why has He not come to kill Ravana or why has He not sent Lakshmana for that matter? What is that She has committed to lose His love? She rather doubted how the Vanara army could cross the sea? If Rama destroys His rival army, filling the entire Lanka with arrows, it will be quite worthy of Him - exasperated She, said Hanuma.
Rama's heart and eyes overflowing with emotions felt short of means to adequately reward Hanuman for the solace and joy he brought to Seeta and to Himself. Then offering to clasp him, took to His arms holding him in tight embrace.
Andal NachiyAr in Her Thiruppavai verse 27 mentions the same as '' யாம் பெறு சம்மானம் - நாடு புகழும் பரிசினால் நன்றாக ''
பாரோர் புகழ - சஞ்சயனும் சுகஸாரணர்களும் இவனுடைய ஆச்ரிதபக்ஷபாதத்தைப் புகழ்ந்து பேசினாப்போலே நாடு சிரிக்கும் படி அவர்கள் வேண்டிற்று பெற்றபடியை ஸ்மரிப்பது.

After reflecting a while, Rama worried how can these monkeys reach the southern bank of the ocean with so much water therein ? and felt miserable in anguish. Sugreeva advised Rama to give up His apprehensions that diminish the might of a man, expressing that the monkey squads they have are gallant and efficient in every respect. When the army crosses the sea with the building a bridge across it, they will emerge victorious as the monkeys are able to change their form at will.
On hearing the words of Sugreeva, Rama asks Hanuman to describe Lanka in detail, which Hanuman obliges, as he saw it. Rama then fixes the auspicious date for the departure of the army towards Lanka.

Rama mounted on the shoulders of Hanuma and Lakshmana on the shoulders of Angada moved towards the southern direction along with the army.
Sugreeva the King of monkeys, Rama and Lakshmana moving at the centre, Satabalai accompanied by tens of crores of monkeys guarded them all. That large army marched like an ocean with great roar of sound. The extensive army marching through day and night, passed through the western ghat encompassing the mountain ranges namely Satyadhri, Malayadhri, Neeladhri, Mahendra Giri and Velavanam along the southern tip of Coumarin peninsula.
